A MAN from Bexhill was arrested following a police pursuit through St Leonards-on-Sea and Bexhill on Monday (4 May).
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle, which failed to do so, prompting a prolonged pursuit.
The vehicle was eventually brought to a stop and the driver was arrested.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop, possession of a bladed article, drug driving, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, taking a motor vehicle without consent, driving without insurance, and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
He remains in police custody at this time.
