THE latest Rother Forum event drew a strong turnout this evening (Thursday) as a local Councillor delivered a speech on planning, housing, development and infrastructure.
Residents from across Little Common and Bexhill, including representatives from local campaign groups, attended the meeting at The Wheatsheaf, to raise concerns and hear updates on some of the area’s most pressing issues.
Cllr Winter, who has long campaigned against inappropriate planning applications, received praise from attendees for his consistent support of the community. His contribution during the evening was described as both ‘informed and passionate’.
The event featured an extended Q&A session, with residents taking the opportunity to quiz the councillor on planning and infrastructure challenges. The level of questioning reflected strong public interest in the future of local development.
Speaking after the meeting, Cllr Winter said: “It was an honour to speak at the Rother Forum and to see such a fantastic turnout. The passion and commitment of local residents never ceases to inspire me, and I will continue to fight alongside them for the future of Little Common, Bexhill and beyond.”
A video of Cllr Winter’s full speech and the Q&A session will be published in the coming days.
