A ROTHER District Councillor is inviting residents to two drop-in sessions to discuss the final Local Plan consultation and how proposed development could shape Bexhill up to 2042.

Following two successful sessions earlier this year, Cllr Connor Winter will once again give residents the opportunity to view the final Bexhill maps, particularly those affecting Bexhill West, ask questions and receive advice on submitting consultation comments.

The sessions will take place at The Wheatsheaf, Little Common, on Wednesday 28 October, 2pm–4pm, and Friday 20 November, 6pm–7.30pm.

Cllr Winter said: “These proposals could have a significant impact on the future of our community. I want residents to have the opportunity to understand the plans, raise their concerns and make their voices heard.”

The consultation closes at midnight on 24 November 2026. Residents can also submit comments online via the Rother District Council website.
